BADEN-BADEN

“Baden” means “bather” in German. So the name Baden-Baden makes sense since this is an old Roman spa town.. For centuries, wealthy people have come to this town for rest and relaxation in the old medieval baths. I was brave enough to do the nude bath, which isn’t usually my style getting naked in front of complete strangers, but hey… when in Rome! After a relaxing hour at the spa I enjoyed a nice cold beer and some schnitzel while still wearing my bathing suit. Although the bathing suit was dry, because I didn’t use it! haha. The casinos were open late, but we had an early bus, so I’ll have to hit those next time…
